about the artist

Hello, my name is Sarah Tocko (pronounced like the food) and I'm a self-taught Abstract Artist based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. I have been practicing art for fifteen years, but recently found my passion with paintbrushes. I like to focus on broad color blending that are free-flowing, balanced, and dreamy; creating something that is both playful and pretty. My inspiration comes from tending to my flower garden and watching the flowers bloom from my diligent care. My vision for creating is constantly changing in hopes that no two pieces are alike.

My creative goal is to capture the beauty of flowers, the sky, and the ever-expanding color palette of nature. I believe that art is much like nature in that it does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.
